Jackson has worked in the energy industry since the introduction of electricity deregulation over 20+ years ago.

After graduating from the University of Texas with a BBA from the Honors Business Program, he spent a short time in management consulting.  Soon after, he joined the growing retail power business at Enron as it prepared for retail market deregulation. In the ensuing years, Jackson has held leadership roles at TXU/Luminant and Direct Energy, and has maintained functional responsibilities spanning structuring, risk management, finance, strategy, business development, and customer experience.

Jackson has been with Freepoint Energy Solutions since market launch in 2017.
